Our Story
Shepherd’s Hill Ranch is a family farm in Central Arkansas built through the shared efforts of multiple generations working together to care for livestock, steward the land, and produce food responsibly.
In 2020, the farm neighboring the property we were renting went up for sale. Out of curiosity we went to take a look and quickly realized it held a lot of potential; 20 acres with pasture ground, a pond, a mobile home, and the beginnings of a barn. After discussing the possibilities it could offer our family, we decided to purchase the property together and begin the work of turning it into something meaningful for generation to come.
What started as land that needed a great deal of cleanup and care has slowly grown into a working family farm that continues to develop year after year.
A Veteran-Owned Farm
Shepherd’s Hill Ranch is proud to be a veteran-owned farm. The property is owned by a military veteran whose leadership and dedication have helped guide the development of the farm from the very begining.
As a family, we work together to build and care for the farm, each contributing in different ways as we continue to grow and improve the land.

How we Farm
At Shepherd’s Hill Ranch, we believe good farming starts with caring for the land and the animals that depend on it.
Our livestock are raised on pasture where they have space to graze and live naturally. We focus on building healthy soil, improving our pastures, and managing the land in ways that support both the animals and the long-term health of the farm.
As the farm continues to grow, we are also establishing orchards and seasonal plantings that will allow us to offer more locally grown food to our community.
Our goal is simple: to raise animals responsibly, steward the land well, and build a farm that can continue providing for future generations.
